During a recent meeting, the Secretary of Finance, Amir Mahmood, joined by DG NSER/CCT Naveed Akbar, highlighted agenda items. Following policy improvements by the Government of Pakistan, financial aid under the Benazir Kafalat program saw a 25% boost. Quarterly installment figures for April-June surged from 7000 to 8750 rupees per recipient, with disbursements directly integrated into beneficiaries’ bank accounts. Notably, the 58th Board Meeting of BISP approved this streamlined payment model.
