BISP Introduces Mobile Van Registration for Enhanced Access to the 8171 Survey

The Benazir Income Support Program is dedicated to providing financial aid to eligible Beneficiaries registered through the NSER Survey. Approximately 9.3 million families have qualified for the program and completed registration via Tehsil offices. However, many families residing in remote areas of Sindh, Balochistan, and KP face challenges visiting Tehsil offices. To address this, BISP has launched Mobile Van Registration to facilitate access to the 8171 program.

Enhancing Accessibility through Mobile Van Registration

The Secretary Director of the Benazir Income Support Program emphasized the difficulty faced by many in accessing BISP offices. Despite over 450 Tehsil Centers nationwide, families in interior Sindh and Balochistan remain unaware of BISP installment programs. The introduction of Mobile Van Registration services aims to address this issue, initially in Sindh and Balochistan, with plans to extend to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The initiative is vital for expanding registrations in the Ehsaas Program.

To further elucidate, the Secretary Director discussed the Nadra and Mobile Van registration service currently operational in Sindh and Balochistan and soon to be available in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He stressed the importance of this service in increasing registrations in the Ehsaas Program.

Mobile Vans Facilitating CNIC Processing

BISP officials announced that the program now eases registration for families in underprivileged areas, predominantly Kachhi Abadis, where residents live below the poverty line without CNIC cards. Mobile Van services are also aiding women in obtaining CNIC cards without the need to travel long distances to NADRA offices.

BISP’s Upcoming Nationwide Survey in 2024

It is a crucial time for ineligible families to register for the Benazir Income Support Program through the NSER Survey before month-end deadlines. In October, a new list of beneficiaries will be compiled, allowing those scoring below 30 to apply for the Benazir Kafalat Program.

Online NSER Survey Registration

Applicants should note that online registration for the NSER Survey is not conducted by BISP. The only valid method is through physical registration at BISP offices to enroll as beneficiaries of the Benazir Kafalat Program.
