Chairperson Rubina Khalid of the Benazir Income Support Program recently visited several BISP Payment Centers to evaluate the facilities and address the issues faced by beneficiaries receiving aid. She highlighted the beneficiaries’ challenges and reassured them of prompt resolutions. Additionally, she announced the introduction of bank accounts for beneficiaries to ensure transparent BISP payments, free from any deductions. Rubina Khalid engaged with beneficiaries at the centers, emphasizing the importance of disbursing funds without any reductions and taking strict actions against any misconduct.

Directives from BISP Chairperson to Staff

During her visit to the payment centers, Chairperson Rubina Khalid identified beneficiaries and instructed the staff to assist them with dignity and respect while providing relief funds. She emphasized the significance of treating beneficiaries with compassion and ensuring a conducive environment with amenities such as clean water and basic facilities. Rubina Khalid stressed the pivotal role of the Benazir Income Support Program in alleviating poverty in Pakistan, highlighting how millions of women have benefited from the program, offering them a chance at a better life. The program has also supported numerous deserving children in receiving quality education through scholarships.

Details of BISP Current Month Payments

The disbursement of BISP payments for the current month is being conducted in phases to ensure efficient delivery. The initial phases targeted specific districts in Pakistan, with approximately 4.2 million deserving women receiving aid from BISP Payment Centers. A total of PKR 53 billion was distributed among these beneficiaries, accounting for 75% of BISP recipients. The division of payments into multiple phases aims to prevent long waiting times and discomfort for beneficiaries during the hot weather. The third phase of payments commenced on July 3rd, with over 1.1 million beneficiaries receiving a total of PKR 5 billion. The distribution process continues, urging deserving women awaiting assistance to visit the nearest payment center with valid identification for collection.

پی ائی ایس پی کی موجودہ ماہ کی ادائیگیاں

بی آئی ایس پی کی موجودہ ماہ کی ادائیگیوں کی تقسیم مراحل میں ہو رہی ہے تاکہ بنیادی امداد یقینی بنیں. پہلے مراحل میں پاکستان کے کچھ خصوصی ضلعوں کو چنا گیا۔ ان ضلعوں میں تقسیم مکمل ہونے کے بعد دوسرا مرحلہ شروع کیا گیا۔ دو مراحل میں تقریبا 42 لاکھ مستحق خواتین نے بی آئی ایس پی ادائیگی مراکز سے امداد رقم وصول کی. کل 53 ارب روپے ان مستحق خواتین میں تقسیم ہوئی. پہلے دو مراحل میں بی آئی ایس پی کے تقریبا 75% مستحقین نے امداد حاصل کی.
