Re-registration of Ineligible Persons in BISP

Great news for those ineligible individuals looking to register with the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) in Pakistan! The re-registration process has commenced at BISP Pakistan. Eligible candidates can proceed to the Tehsil Office with all the necessary documentation to complete their registration. In a recent development, 62 lakh beneficiaries have availed payments for this month. Chairperson Rubina Khalid has initiated this month’s registration drive to widen the program’s outreach. It has been announced that the eligibility parameters have been expanded to cater to the middle class.

One significant change is the increase in the poverty score from 30 to 35 to qualify for relief funds. Individuals with a poverty score of 35 or lower are eligible for quarterly assistance upon successful registration. Distribution for the third phase of this month’s BISP program is currently underway. Women can collect subsidies from designated payment centers by presenting their valid National Identity Cards.

Guidelines for Re-registering in BISP
