Latest Update on Ehsaas Program 2024: Three Thousand Rupees Increase in Quarterly Assistance

The Chairperson of BISP, Sania Nishtar, during her visit to Sindh, announced the unprecedented increase in the quarterly stipend for the 33 million eligible beneficiaries of the Ehsaas Program. Through the Ehsaas Camps, individuals are receiving assistance amounting to ten thousand five hundred rupees monthly.

After enrollment, the next installment for Ehsaas will be increased to thirteen thousand five hundred rupees, and BISP has announced an increase in the number of applicants until 2025. Unprecedented Increase in Quarterly Assistance for Women

Sania Nishtar announced an increment of one thousand rupees in financial aid during her visit to the Sindh government hospital PIB Colony in Karachi under the Benazir Development Center program. According to official sources, the next installment of Benazir Kafalat will increase to thirteen thousand five hundred rupees, benefiting all eligible women who have completed their NSER survey under the Ehsaas Income Support Program on the 8171 web portal.

Beneficiaries to Receive Three Thousand Rupees Increase in BISP Payments

The Chairperson of Ehsaas Income Support Program stated that nearly 93 million beneficiaries will receive saffron quarterly installments. Currently, around 93 million households registered with Benazir Kafalat receive ten thousand five hundred rupees every three months. Following the announcement, this amount will be increased by three thousand rupees to be paid as thirteen thousand five hundred rupees.

How to Collect Ehsaas Payments via ATM

Fifteen clusters and six banks cater to BISP beneficiaries. The quarterly payments of BISP amounting to ten thousand five hundred rupees for registered recipients are facilitated through ATMs.

Habib Bank Limited, Bank Alfalah, Bank of Punjab, MobiLink Microfinance, Telenor Microfinance Bank, and HBL Microfinance operate nationwide.

Beneficiaries can collect quarterly installments through any authorized bank’s ATM in Pakistan.

Expansion of Benazir’s Scope to Ten Million Beneficiaries

According to Nishtar, Benazir currently includes 93 million families, with the possibility of growing to one hundred million by next year.

In the past, BISP allowed households enrolled in the program to withdraw ten thousand five hundred rupees from bank accounts as quarterly payments. Initially reliant on just two banks, Benazir partnered with six additional banks to distribute payments to its 9.3 million eligible families.
