Over 58 Billion Rupees Disbursed Among 75% of BISP Beneficiaries
The Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) has successfully provided financial aid to approximately 75% of its beneficiaries through the June quarterly installment. Those who are yet to receive their payments are advised to visit the nearest campsite for assistance. To ensure transparency in payment distribution, Chairperson Rubina Khalid has been personally inspecting payment centers and providing necessary directives to address beneficiary issues.
Chairperson Rubina Khalid emphasized the importance of providing beneficiaries with access to clean drinking water and a comfortable sitting environment. She reassured the recipients that bank accounts for deserving women under BISP will soon be activated, facilitating easy payment receipt without any deductions.
مستفیدین کو رقم وصول ہو رہی ہے
Recent records indicate that around 61 lakh BISP beneficiaries have collectively received an amount exceeding 58 billion rupees. However, there are approximately four lakh eligible women who are yet to receive their financial assistance. Instructing beneficiaries to avoid crowding at payment centers, Chairperson Rubina Khalid emphasized the need for patience during the payment process.
She stressed treating beneficiaries with utmost respect and dignity, ensuring aid disbursement with integrity. Additionally, educational scholarships for students have been released alongside the regular quarterly installments, allowing eligible women to also benefit from educational support for their children.
Fees and Payment Collection for BISP
Chairperson Rubina Khalid reiterated that there are no fees associated with receiving BISP payments. Beneficiaries are advised to report any individual claiming fees for payment collection to prevent fraudulent activities. The Benazir Income Support Program does not charge beneficiaries for registration, withdrawal, or any transaction fees, offering all services free of cost.
To combat fraud, BISP provides complaint numbers for beneficiaries to report any suspicious activities related to payment collection, ensuring their protection.
