Maryam Nawaz empathized with the impoverished by affirming that public servants should prioritize serving the people without exploiting their positions.

In a compassionate gesture towards the underprivileged, Maryam Nawaz vowed not to waste a moment in aiding them during dire circumstances. She shared that the holy month of Ramadan presents an opportunity to announce assistance for the less fortunate. The government of Pakistan is extending caregiving relief to the most vulnerable, ensuring their needs are met through a comprehensive relief package designed by the Punjab Government.

Eligibility Criteria for the Nighbaan Relief Program

Maryam Nawaz stressed the completion of a survey within three months to identify the most deserving individuals in Punjab who require support. The eligibility criteria, established by Maryam Nawaz’s daughter, mandate that individuals with a monthly income of 60,000 PKR or less are eligible for aid. Moreover:

• People living near or below the poverty line are eligible for ration assistance
• Individuals facing extreme vulnerability and unable to afford necessities can register for support
• Unemployed individuals with no income source qualify for the Caregiver Relief Program

Benefits of the Nighbaan Relief Package

The Nighbaan Relief Package not only includes ration distribution during Ramadan but also extends to providing essential items post-Ramadan. Maryam Nawaz emphasized that besides ration distribution, necessary items will be delivered to the beneficiaries’ doorsteps. The relief package, amounting to 65 to 70 lakhs in value, will cater to the needs of the vulnerable population during Ramadan.

The primary goal is to aid destitute individuals by delivering essential goods to their homes. Maryam Nawaz empathized with the plight of those unable to access supplies independently and vowed to bring relief to their doorsteps to ensure a peaceful and dignified living. In a bid to alleviate the struggles faced by the underprivileged, Maryam Nawaz opted for home deliveries to eliminate the inconvenience of standing in long queues.

In a departure from politics, Maryam Nawaz turned her focus towards addressing the plight of the impoverished, emphasizing the importance of ensuring the entitled individuals receive their due rights. She also pledged to establish cost-effective markets during Ramadan to facilitate affordable purchases for the less privileged, ensuring they do not pay more than the fixed prices.
