The Bright Household Program: Empowering Electricity Consumers with 100 Units through the Roshan Ghrana Scheme

The Bright Household Program

Embark on a brighter future with the initiative spearheaded by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz – The Roshan Ghrana Scheme. This groundbreaking program sets out to equip households in Punjab consuming less than 100 units of electricity per month with solar systems, tailored especially for disadvantaged individuals

Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz envisions providing solar systems to approximately 50,000 low electricity-consuming households throughout Punjab, paving the way for a more harmonious way of living for all its citizens.

Inclusions in The Bright Household Program

Beneficiaries of the Roshan Ghrana scheme will receive two solar panels, batteries, an inverter, and a complete wiring setup. The initial phase aims to assist 50,000 individuals, and in case of over-subscription, a lottery system will determine additional recipients of the solar system.

This comprehensive system can power fans, LED lights, small motors, and other essential devices, ensuring a reliable electricity supply. The program guarantees 16 hours of backup power from the solar system batteries, providing uninterrupted electricity when needed.

The solar system and its components come with a five-year warranty. This initiative not only alleviates the financial burden of electricity costs but also encourages the adoption of sustainable energy generation methods.
